
London has unveiled a new city-wide drive to speed up the removal of unsafe cladding and step up building safety work across the capital.
The Local Remediation Acceleration Plan for London brings City Hall, ministers, regulators, councils and the London Fire Brigade together behind a tougher, more coordinated crackdown on delays. The plan is designed to help hit national remediation targets by 2029, with stronger enforcement on developers and landlords, closer joint working across the sector and a bigger focus on residents caught up in the crisis.
