We are a pop-up disaster-response charity. We distribute public donations to those who are caught up in a major emergency such as terrorist attacks or other civil disasters in the capital.
Those we are able to help chiefly the bereaved next of kin of someone who has lost their life in such an incident and those who have been injured and hospitalised.
Financial help from LET is an expression of support by members of the public, businesses, and by charitable foundations. It is not compensation. The government runs a separate criminal injuries compensation shceme.
