Donations to the UK Solidarity Fund and other charitable funders to assist the worshippers caught up in the attack near Finsbury Park Mosque on 19 June were channelled through the London Emergencies Trust.

We’ve made a charitable payment to the family of the man who died and we have assisted those who were injured, awarding a total of £235,000 to those who applied for a grant.

There are four categories of charitable payment for those directly affected by the attack:

  • The next of kin of an individual who died were awarded £75,000
  • Any individual who was hospitalised for at least a week was awarded  £43,000
  • Any individual who was hospitalised for between 4-7 days was awarded £25,000
  • Any individual who was hospitalised for at least six hours was awarded £7,000
