The London Emergencies Trust’s latest annual report highlights the charity’s continued readiness to respond quickly and effectively when London faces a major emergency.
Although LET did not need to activate during 2025, it remained prepared to act, maintaining close relationships with London local authorities, funders and community organisations. Support from City Bridge Foundation and London Funders continues to underpin the charity’s resilience and day-to-day operations.
During the year, LET maintained its partnership with the National Emergencies Trust and contributed its experience to organisations responding to emergencies elsewhere in the UK. The report also reflects on the 20th anniversary commemorations of the 7 July 2005 London bombings and reaffirms LET’s commitment to supporting people affected by future terror attacks or major civil incidents.
